Ingredients

  • 2 bags of 227g Florette fresh spinach washed
  • 1 bunch of fresh parsley
  • 1 bunch of fresh dill
  • 8 shallots
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 4 eggs
  • 900 g – feta
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) melted butter
  • 8 sheets phyllo paste
  • Pepper to taste

Steps

    1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
    2. Prepare the spinach by blanching with water for 2 to 3 minutes. Cool. Chop parsley, dill, shallots and garlic.
    3. Crush the feta cheese roughly.
    4. Mix chopped spinach, herbs, shallots, feta cheese and eggs.
    5. Add pepper to taste.
    6. Brush a phyllo sheet of melted butter and fold it into 3.
    7. Fold the dough to form a triangle.
    8. Fill with the preparation and fold down the dough again to close the triangle.
    9. Bake at 350 F for about 30 minutes.

Freezes easily.
