Beet wake-up smoothie

Ingredients

  • 250 mL (1 cup) orange juice
  • 250 mL (1 cup) frozen strawberries
  • 175 mL (3/4 cup) Florette beet julienne
  • 125 mL (1/2 cup) plain greek yogurt

Steps

  1. In a blender, combine all ingredients until smooth.
  2. Add some ice cubes if desired

Variation: add 1.25ml (1/4 teaspoon) grated fresh ginger for a slightly spicy touch.
