Carrot “Spider” Energy Balls

Ingredients

375 ml (1 1/2 cups) of pitted dates
375 ml (1 1/2 cups) of walnuts
375 ml (1 1/2 cups) of ground almonds
5 ml (1 tsp) of pumpkin pie spice
250 ml (1 cup) of Florette shredded carrots
60 pretzel sticks, broken in half
40 small candy eyes

Steps

  1. In the container of the food processor, place the dates, walnuts, ground almonds and spices. Mix for 1 to 2 minutes, until a homogeneous preparation is obtained.
  2. Add the carrots and mix again lightly. Do not overmix.
  3. Shape 20 balls using approximately 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of preparation for each one. If desired, decorate balls with pretzel pieces and small eyes.
